Celebrate LAS with us!

As Director of Latin American Studies, I am proud to announce that the academic year 2016 / 17 marks the ten-year anniversary of our program’s establishment. I take this occasion to thank each of you for being a part of LAS and to invite you to the wonderful events we have planned to celebrate this important milestone.

LAS has always been an incredible group of people devoted to furthering knowledge and engagement with the region: our students, whose passion inspires everything we do; our fiercely loyal faculty and staff, as well as previous directors, whose friendly and warm spirit are the backbone of the program; our colleagues in other universities, and all our community collaborators, whose support is a vital part of our success.

As we celebrate all that we have accomplished together, I ask you to consider actively supporting to our initiative. No committment is too small: whether you take our courses, attend our activities, volunteer in the organization of events, or sponsor our students with a financial contribution to our newly established Anniversary Scholarship Fund.

Thank you for helping make LAS a fantastic program, now and for decades to come!
Sincerely,

Susan Antebi, LAS Director
